Gingerbread Houses

OK... so they are not really gingerbread. Cameron wasn't feeling well the day of his preschool party so he missed making one at school so we made graham cracker houses at home. They had fun putting on the candy.

Frosty the Snowman

We finally got enough wet packing snow today to make a snowman. The kids had fun helping to build it.

A long standing Henderson tradition....the making of Candy Cane Cookies. The holiday would not be complete without them.

Winter Wonderland!

So we finally had our first big snow storm of the season. The kids decided that they wanted to go out and try to build a snowman this afternoon. Unfortunately, the snow was total powder and would not stick together so they had to improvise and find other ways to play in the snow.

Cameron wanted to go sledding so we found the sled and tried sledding down our tiny hill!

It worked pretty good once they got a packed down trail. Next time we will find a bigger hill!
